Anyone who has taught or marched a show knows the paper shuffle: drill charts in one binder, coordinate sheets in another, the score somewhere else, and the show audio on whoever’s speaker made it to rehearsal. SetFlow is my attempt to put all of that in one place — and keep it in sync.
The idea
SetFlow is built around the documents marching teams already use. You import the show packet — drill PDFs, score pages, coordinate sheets, show audio — and review what was scanned: sets, counts, measures, and tempo marks. Then you rehearse from it:
- Learn mode steps through sets one at a time while performers clean transitions
- Flow mode runs full sequences at tempo, with auto-pauses and set callouts
- The audio stays locked — metronome, voice callouts, and show audio balanced separately while the roadmap keeps time
- AR field check anchors the chart to real yard lines, so you can see the formation on the actual field at full scale
Directors, techs, section leaders, and performers all read the same show map: same sets, same dots, same timing.
Where it stands
SetFlow is in active development for iPhone and iPad, and it’s the deepest project I’ve taken on — file parsing, audio sync, field rendering, and AR all have to feel like one tool, not four. I’m being patient with it, because this is the app I most want to get right.
